PIXEL: Digital Art Exhibition invites Brampton artists to submit works across a variety of chosen themes and ideas. From music videos to animation and photographs, from painting to visual works, all genres and mediums are celebrated on the big screen in Garden Square and across BAO and City of Brampton digital screens and social media channels.
The selected artworks are also captured on a series of postcards distributed at all BAO events and others like the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair, Art Toronto and more, further promoting the artists and their practices to audiences across the GTA. Over 10,000 Brampton artist postcards have been distributed. A range of themes, like Summer of Love and Brampton Reverb, have been explored. The program has, furthermore, provided specific support to Black and Indigenous artists.
