Home Voting Service

The Home Voting Service will be available this year for eligible voters who are homebound due to illness, injury or disability. This is an appointment-based service that assists with increasing access and is part of the City of Brampton's Accessibility Plan for the 2026 Municipal Election.

This year, the Home Voting Service will take place from Tuesday, October 13 to Thursday, October 15, during regular business hours. Eligible voters who are homebound can contact the Election Office to schedule an appointment for home voting.

Up to 100 appointments are available. Election officials will visit the voter at their home in order to conduct the home vote.

Other options are available to cast a ballot for voters who are unable to vote on Voting Day including voting during advance voting and appointing a voting proxy.

More information about requesting an appointment for home voting will be available closer to the election.
