The documents provided must be dated within the past twelve (12) months. Those selected will be contacted by City of Brampton Recreation staff to schedule an orientation session and arrange pass pick-up.

The application​ will remain open un​til 5:00pm on Friday, May 31, 2024.​

One piece of the following documents must be dated within the past twelve (12) months

  • Driver’s license/Ontario Photo ID Card
  • Household bill (telephone, TV, hydro, gas or water)
  • Bank/credit card statement
  • Statement of government benefits (employment insurance, old age security, social assistance or disability support)
  • Property tax bill
  • Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment

One piece of valid identification that includes the youth name and date of birth must be presented. Acceptable forms include:

  • Driver'​s License/Ontario Photo ID Card
  • Passport
  • Permanent Resident Card
  • Provincial Health Card (red/white version is not acceptable)
  • Birth Certificate

Please upload a photo of yourself to be used on your Explore Brampton Youth Pass. Please keep the following in mind when taking your photo.

  • Stand in front of a blank wall with no patterns or photos behind you
  • No sunglasses
  • The focus of your image should be of your face from the shoulders up
  • The photo must be in colour

Please note: The original digital file of your photo must be uploaded for your identification card. If a picture of a photo is uploaded the application may not be accepted.​

The personal information on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001, c.25. The information will be used to process Explore Brampton Youth Pass applications and will be kept on file until December 31, 2025. Your personal information will also be used to communicate a follow-up survey, if consent was provided on this application. Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary and you may opt out of the survey. Questions about the collection of personal information should be directed to the Recreation Supervisor, Community Development & Integrated Services, Community Services Department, City of Brampton at ExploreBramptonYouthPass@brampton.ca.   • The Explore Brampton Youth Pass Program is open to Brampton Youth born between September 2, 2008 and September 1, 2013.
  • This P​rogram is subject to change upon Brampton Council approval.

An applicant must show proof of age.
One piece of documentation from each of the following sections must be presented and the documents must be dated within the past twelve (12) months.
  • Proof of Parent/Guardian’s Brampton Address
    • Documentation must be dated within the past twelve (12) months.
      • Driver’s license/Ontario Photo ID Card
      • Household bill (telephone, TV, hydro, gas or water)
      • Bank/credit card statement
      • Statement of government benefits (employment insurance, old age security, social assistance or disability support)
      • Property tax bill
      • Revenue Canada Notice of Assessment
  • Proof of Youth Identity
    • One piece of valid government-issued identification that includes a photograph, name, and date of birth must be presented. Acceptable forms include:
      • Driver’s License/Ontario Photo ID Card
      • Canadian Passport
      • Permanent Resident Card
      • Provincial Health Card (red/white version is not acceptable)
      • Birth Certificate

  • The card is non-transferable. It can only be used by the person whose name and photo appear on the card.
  • The card is valid for travel on regularly scheduled Brampton Transit services and for use at applicable Recreation drop-in programs
  • The Explore Brampton Youth Pass must be clearly displayed to the Transit Operators and Recreation staff at time of use.
  • If you do not have the Explore Brampton pass, you will be required to pay for programs at Recreation Centres and pay the cash/credit card fare or use a PRESTO card to board the bus.
  • The card is the property of the City of Brampton and may be revoked at any time at the City of Brampton’s discretion.
  • The card must not be reproduced or altered and any improper use may result in prosecution.
