BRAMPTON, ON (March 25, 2024) – On April 27, the City of Brampton will be celebrating Eid. Known as the Festival of Breaking Fast, Eid ul-Fitr is a time to celebrate with family and friends and give back to the community.
Residents are invited to come out to Chinguacousy Park on April 27 to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan and celebrate Eid. Enjoy free activities for the whole family including henna and face painting, live entertainment, giveaways and more. Halal food trucks will be on site for attendees to purchase delicious cuisine. Residents are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or unwrapped toy in support of local organizations.
