- proof of being a Brampton resident, such as a driver’s licence or utility bill with a home address
- proof of identity and age
- proof of Canadian citizenship or being a permanent resident
This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing commitment to promote active living and healthy lifestyles among older adults. Last year, more than 7,000 residents enrolled in the free 70+ Annual Recreation Membership, and with the expansion of the membership to include those aged 65 and older, even more Brampton residents will have the opportunity to stay active, healthy and connected through accessible recreation.
The free 65+ Annual Recreation Membership is one of several actions the City is taking to enhance services for older adults, aligning with feedback received through the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
