The City of Brampton’s Traffic Box Art Program, also known as Brampton BOXED, explores placemaking through artistic activations at selected intersections throughout the City. Following the success of the City’s first traffic box pilot project in 2021, the City issued a Call for Artists in 2023 that received over 80 digital artwork submissions. Ten artists were selected for this paid opportunity with their artwork installed at street corners across Brampton.
