Members of the media are invited to the second annual Test Your Smoke Alarm Day, hosted by Brampton Fire and Emergency Services, coinciding with the Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM)’s provincial campaign launch. The OFM, with the support of fire services and fire safety partners across Ontario, is challenging all Ontarians to test smoke alarms in their homes on September 28, as part of this vital campaign to enhance fire safety awareness across the province.
Members of the media will hear remarks from Councillor Rowena Santos, Fire Chief Nick Ruller and John McBeth, Deputy Fire Marshal of Training, Certification & Education followed by an opportunity to capture footage of the event.
