About becoming a vendor with the City of Brampton

The Purchasing team, a part of the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, is a centralized group responsible for the procurement of all goods, services and construction for the City.

Purchasing uses a variety of procurement methods, in accordance with the Purchasing By-law, to facilitate a competitive bid process. Purchasing adopts the goal of fairness by ensuring that all who wish to compete for the opportunity to sell to the City, can do so.

Every year, the City procures more than $300 million in goods, services and construction. The City is expanding its pool of vendors to extend more opportunities to support businesses, ensure fair and competitive pricing and to help serve the City’s customers more effectively.
