BRAMPTON, ON (June 2, 2026) – Residents are invited to celebrate Pride 2026 in Brampton with live music, drag performances, Pride-themed activations, giveaways, face painting, interactive photo opportunities and community information booths at Garden Square on June 27. The event will take place alongside the Downtown Brampton Farmers’ Market, offering a morning of celebration, creativity and connection in downtown Brampton.

Pride 2026 will feature live entertainment by DJ Chissmiss Cherry, drag performances curated by Equal Peel featuring Tifa Wine, Dahlia Doll and Aria Doll, and community information booths with local organizations and City services supporting Brampton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community and residents, including Moyo Health and Community Services, Pflag Peel Region, Saving Lives with Pride and many more community partners and organizations. Residents can also enjoy Pride-themed activations, giveaways, free face painting, interactive photo opportunities and family-friendly programming for all ages.
Pride 2026 is made possible through the generous support of TD and Algoma University.
Following the Stonewall riots in New York in 1969, June has continued to be widely recognized as Pride Month. In Brampton, Pride is both a celebration of love, identity and expression, and a continued commitment to creating safer, more welcoming and inclusive spaces where everyone feels seen, respected and supported.
The City of Brampton remains committed to fostering safer, welcoming and inclusive spaces where Brampton’s 2SLGBTQIA+ community is recognized, celebrated and supported. Pride 2026 will offer residents, families and allies a morning of local entertainment, interactive experiences and opportunities to connect with organizations and services supporting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community across Brampton and Peel Region.

Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) Open Studio+ & QT Artist Mixer
