​​​​BRAMPTON, ON – Effective Monday June 24, Brampton Transit will implement service changes to ensure its transit system continues to move people around the city safely and effectively.   

Service Changes   

501C Züm Queen   

  • ​​​Brampton Transit will be removing the existing Route 501C Züm Queen service to York University from Highway 407 and only operate Route 501 service on Highway 7 via the York Region Transit (YRT) Rapidway to SmartVMC Terminal at Vaughan Metropolitan Centre.

  • Weekday AM/PM peak and midday service frequency increased to 10 min   
  • Sunday day service frequency increased to 20 min   
  • Sunday evening service frequency increased to 20 min   

1 Queen   

  • Saturday day service frequency increased to 15 min  
  • Saturday evening service frequency increased to 20 min   
  • Sunday day service frequency increased to 20 min   
  • Sunday evening service frequency increased to 20 min   

3/3A McLaughlin  

  • Sunday day service frequency increased to 26 min   
  • Sunday evening service frequency increased to 26 min   

4/4A Chinguacousy  

  • Weekday midday service frequency increased to 10 min   
  • Weekday early evening service frequency increased to 12 min   
  • Saturday day service frequency increased to 12/15 min   
  • Sunday day service frequency increased to 15 min   
  • Sunday evening service frequency increased to 15 min   

6 James Potter  

  • Weekday AM/PM peak service frequency increased to 20 min   
  • Weekday midday service frequency increased to 22 min   
  • Weekday evening service frequency increased to 25 min   
  • Route realigned via Edwards Boulevard and will not be servicing the intersection of Topflight Drive and Hurontario St.   

9 Vodden  

  • Weekday AM/PM peak service frequency increased to 30 min   
  • Weekday midday service frequency increased to 40 min   

14/14A Torbram  

  • Saturday day service frequency increased to 15/20 min   
  • Saturday evening service frequency increased to 20 min   
  • Sunday day service frequency increased to 20 min   

15 Bramalea  

  • Weekday midday service frequency increased to 16 min   
  • Weekday early evening frequency increased to 16 min   

26 Mount Pleasant Realignment  

  • Route realigned along Clockwork Drive and will not service Mayfield Road between Creditview Road and Chinguacousy Road.  

28 Wanless  

  • Weekday morning service starting at 5:45 am   

30 Airport Road  

  • Weekday midday service frequency increased to 15 min   
  • Weekday evening service frequency increased to 15/20 min   
  • Saturday day service frequency increased to 15 min   
  • Saturday early evening service frequency increased to 15 min   
  • Sunday day service frequency increased 20 min   

31 McVean  

  • Weekday, Saturday, Sunday schedule adjustments   

50/50A Gore Road  

  • 50 weekday AM peak service frequency increased to 12 min   
  • 50 weekday PM peak service frequency increased to 13 min   
  • 50 weekday late evening service frequency increased to 30 min   
  • 50A weekday AM peak service frequency increased to 24 min   
  • 50A weekday midday service frequency increased to 32 min   
  • 50A weekday PM peak service frequency increased to 26 min   
  • 50A weekday late evening service frequency increased to 30 min   

60 Mississauga Road  

  • Weekday AM/PM peak, midday, evening service frequency increased to 26 min   
  • Saturday day and evening service frequency increased to 35 min   
  • Saturday morning service starting at 7:00 am   

104 Chinguacousy Express  

  • ​​New weekday midday service added with a service frequency of 20 min  

School Specials  

  • Routes 200-218 School Specials and School Extras cancelled for the summer. Service resumes in September  
  • Summer School trips have been added to routes 4/4A, 6, 9, 12, 29, 36, 50, 52
