BRAMPTON, ON – The City of Brampton Election Office has launched an “I Voted” sticker design contest to encourage young residents to participate in the 2026 Municipal Election on Monday, October 26, 2026.
Thousands of “I Voted” stickers are handed to voters during advance voting and on Voting Day during each election. The City invites elementary school students aged 13 and under who live in Brampton to design the official sticker for 2026. The winning artwork will be printed and handed to residents after they vote.
This contest encourages democratic participation, celebrates creativity and connects students to the election process. Through the contest, students may:
- Contribute to a city-wide election initiative
- Develop and showcase their artistic skills
- Engage in local democracy and highlight the importance of voting
The contest runs until Friday, April 10, 4:30 pm, and the winner will be announced later in April following the close of the contest.
