Bike Month

​​​​​​​Brampton Bicycle Festival

  • We’re kicking off Bike Month with a fun-filled festival on Saturday May 25th in Chinguacousy Park. Join us from 10AM to 2PM in the east parking lot (by Bramalea Road) to meet other cyclists in your city and to learn about cycling safety. There will be giveaways, a kids obstacle course, e-scooter demos, products for sale and more!

Bike the Creek​

  • It’s the 10th anniversary of Bike the Creek! Starting out as a way to celebrate the Etobicoke Creek Trail, this event has drawn in thousands of cyclists from across the GTHA to explore the trails and cycling infrastructure through the City of Brampton and the whole Region of Peel. With 5 rides ranging between 5 and 70 km, this family friendly event bring people together to celebrate nature and partake in a free barbeque. Bike to Work Week​

  • From June 16th to June 22nd, Brampton is encouraging people to Bike to Work! Snap a selfie of your bike to work journey and share it with the hashtag #BramptonBikeMonth to spread the word! ! We want businesses to participate in Brampton’s Bike to Work Week and to help, we will be providing swag packs for those who register. Interested parties can register at cycling@brampton.ca

Community Bike Rides

  • Brampton’s cycling advisory committee has lined up this years new roster of community rides! These rides are a perfect summer activity to spend with family and friends, while also providing an opportunities to meet your neighbours and explore your city. Brampton Bike Hub

  • The Brampton Bike Hub is a partnership between the Region of Peel, City of Brampton and Punjabi Community Health Service. Register as a member to gain access to a DIY – Bike Shop, to join workshops to learn bike repair, to access the bicycle-lending library and to join the Pedalwise Mentorship Program. Sign up here.
