The Leaf Vacuum Program has been limited to the areas with the most mature trees with the highest volume of leaves. All other areas are serviced by the Region of Peel’s Waste Collection Program.
The program is provided in partnership with the Region of Peel to qualifying residential neighbourhoods, indicated on the map below.
Note: Private streets and condominium corporations within collection areas do not receive vacuum service.
Crews collect the leaves that residents rake to the curb using leaf vacuum vehicles. Collected leaves are then brought to the
Region of Peel’s Composting Facility.
