Project Overview
As part of the City’s watercourse erosion program, the City has engaged the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to implement erosion control and slope stabilization work within Birch Bank Park, along Spring Creek.
The project addressed erosion concerns by constructing bank remediation measures, including an armourstone wall and stone riprap slope, to stabilize the channel and prevent further encroachment on the recreational trail.

Construction was completed in fall 2025.
