Join us on November 26th, 2024 at The Rose Brampton Main Stage for the 6th annual City of Brampton Sponsorship Forum! The event is free but pre-registration is required.

The 2024 Sponsorship Forum will showcase keynote speaker Gavin Roth, who will explore purpose-driven partnerships and the evolving role of brands from mere activation to meaningful impact. Additionally, Gavin will facilitate a fireside chat with Vinay Virmani​, Brampton Hall of Fame inductee and Chief Content Officer at Uninterrupte​d Canada. The morning session promises to be an intimate opportunity to reengage with the business strategy of sponsorship.

Gavin Roth - Founder & Managing Partner of Gavin Roth + Associates Revenue Consultants Inc

Gavin Roth, Founder & Managing Partner of Gavin Roth + Associates Revenue Consultants Inc and currently the Commercial Lead for FIFA World Cup 26 Toronto

Gavin is one of North America's top sponsorship strategists and partnership architects. He has 30 years of experience in strategic partnerships, sponsorship sales & marketing, and integrated media sales - having played a key role in over $500MM worth of partnerships and sponsorships over his career.

Currently working at MLSE as Commercial Lead for FIFA World Cup 26 Toronto, responsible for generating revenue for the City of Toronto through sponsorships and hospitality sales for the landmark event.

Gavin is also Founder & Managing Partner of Gavin Roth + Associates Revenue Consultants Inc. - an agency founded in 2017 that focuses on corporate partnership revenue strategy, and executive coaching. And since 2018, he has hosted the Influencers of Sponsorship Marketing Podcast, a show that features insights and inspiration from top sponsorship marketers.

Gavin has also held a number of leadership roles in sports, including a stint as Chief Commercial Officer at Golf Canada, where he was responsible for revenue and marketing for all Golf Canada properties, including the RBC Canadian Open and CP Women's Open.

He was also Vice President of Multiplatform Sales at Rogers Media, where Gavin led a new mandate to bring integrated media solutions to Rogers Media clients.

Before Rogers, Gavin was Vice President, Sales at Canada's Olympic Media Consortium (the official media rights holder for the 2010 and 2012 Olympics), where he led a team that developed and negotiated some of the largest integrated media partnerships in Canadian media history.

He has also held senior sales and marketing roles with the Canadian Football League and WWE Canada and spent 6 years in the ad agency world.

Gavin enjoys giving back to the Canadian Sponsorship Marketing industry, serving as mentor to young professionals, judge of the annual Sponsorship Marketing Awards and part of the selection committee for the annual 5 to Watch Sports Business Awards program.

Vinay Virmani, Chief Content Officer at Uninterrupted Canada

Driven by a firm belief that diversity in storytelling is the future of the entertainment and advertising industry, Vinay is the founder of First Take Entertainment and Partner & Chief Content Officer at Uninterrupted Canada (The Lebron James backed athlete empowerment studio). Vinay has produced several feature prominent feature films, documentaries and most notably winning the TIFF's People Choice for his 2022 feature documentary Black Ice.

Vinay is a driving force in championing diversity and inclusion within the Canadian film industry. Through founding initiatives, advocating for representation, and actively participating in mentorship programs, Virmani has been a catalyst for empowering BIPOC filmmakers. His support extends to film festivals, events, and collaborations with educational institutions, collectively shaping a more inclusive and vibrant landscape for diverse voices in Canadian cinema.

Kenn Lewis hails from the Caribbean and has played the Toronto scene and suburban cities for many years. The Multi-instrumentalist, uses the Steel Drums as his main instrument of choice. He has shared the stage with many local and foreign artiste.

The styles of music he plays varies from Reggae to R&B, however his main musical theme are hot & spicy Caribbean Rhythms.

Kenn Lewis produces and writes his own music.

Omega Mighty, Singer-Songwriter and Performance Artist

Omega is an eclectic female singer-songwriter and performance artist from Toronto, ON with a distinctive lower register and an amazing skill for arranging. Her sound is a fusion of R&B/hip hop and dancehall. She began to perfect her artistic craft from the age of 4 training in classical piano and by age 9, she furthered her love for music and performance with formal vocal lessons and dance training in tap, ballet, dancehall and hip hop. You can expect her live performance to encompass smooth sultry vocals, vibrant movement and a militant aura. As an integral member of Mighty Gang, Omega wears multiple hats bringing together energetic stage performances as singer-songwriter, producer, and creative director.

Nachde Rangeelay Academy is a Bhangra dance academy where we train the next generation the folk roots of Bhangra but keeping it interesting with a modern touch. We offer classes to all ages and everyone is welcome. Nachde Rangeelay Academy has very well established themselves in the entertainment industry this past year performing at over 250 events. Our goal at Nachde Rangeelay is to keep the Punjabi folk dance known as Bhangra spreading through our next generations!
