Gavin is one of North America's top sponsorship strategists and partnership architects. He has 30 years of experience in strategic partnerships, sponsorship sales & marketing, and integrated media sales - having played a key role in over $500MM worth of partnerships and sponsorships over his career.
Currently working at MLSE as Commercial Lead for FIFA World Cup 26 Toronto, responsible for generating revenue for the City of Toronto through sponsorships and hospitality sales for the landmark event.
Gavin is also Founder & Managing Partner of Gavin Roth + Associates Revenue Consultants Inc. - an agency founded in 2017 that focuses on corporate partnership revenue strategy, and executive coaching. And since 2018, he has hosted the Influencers of Sponsorship Marketing Podcast, a show that features insights and inspiration from top sponsorship marketers.
Gavin has also held a number of leadership roles in sports, including a stint as Chief Commercial Officer at Golf Canada, where he was responsible for revenue and marketing for all Golf Canada properties, including the RBC Canadian Open and CP Women's Open.
He was also Vice President of Multiplatform Sales at Rogers Media, where Gavin led a new mandate to bring integrated media solutions to Rogers Media clients.
Before Rogers, Gavin was Vice President, Sales at Canada's Olympic Media Consortium (the official media rights holder for the 2010 and 2012 Olympics), where he led a team that developed and negotiated some of the largest integrated media partnerships in Canadian media history.
He has also held senior sales and marketing roles with the Canadian Football League and WWE Canada and spent 6 years in the ad agency world.
Gavin enjoys giving back to the Canadian Sponsorship Marketing industry, serving as mentor to young professionals, judge of the annual Sponsorship Marketing Awards and part of the selection committee for the annual 5 to Watch Sports Business Awards program.
