Election worker payment will be issued by direct deposit approximately six (6) to eight (8) weeks after Voting Day, Monday, October 26, 2026.
It is the responsibility of each election worker to provide accurate and complete payment information, including:
- Full legal name
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Completed Direct Deposit Form
- Void cheque or required banking information
Changes to Banking Information
If your banking information changes after you submit your Direct Deposit Form, please contact the Election Office as soon as possible to update your information at bramptonvotes@brampton.ca.
T4A Slips
T4A slips will be issued to eligible election workers, as required, based on Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements.
Training Payment
Training compensation is included in the applicable election worker pay rate. Training is not paid as a separate payment.
Please note:
- Election workers who attend training, but do not fulfill their work assignment
will not be paid.
- Election workers who do not attend their required training,
will be removed from their work assignment.
- Election workers are responsible for completing all required training before fulfilling their work assignment.
