City of Brampton Litter Reduction Initiatives
In 2023, Brampton City Council passed a motion for staff to work with community groups and stakeholders to review processes and coordination efforts to identify gaps in maintaining a clean city. Our efforts are driven by a passionate team and supported by individuals like you who care deeply about the city we live in.
New! Ready, Set, Collect Litter Reduction Competition
Exciting news! We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Ready, Set, Collect Litter Reduction Competition: a user-friendly platform designed to encourage individuals and communities to take action and track their litter cleanup efforts by reporting the area they have visited and the amount of litter they have collected. Through this tool, residents can share their results to challenge other neighbourhoods to undertake their own cleanup efforts to keep Brampton clean!
