SAFETY​

​We will install a bus operator safety shield on every bus.

​We will consult with customers and other stakeholders on service improvement priorities and options for the 2019 Service Plan through seven Public Information Centre events.

We will implement the 2019 Service Plan, adding 81,000 service hours.  A majority of these hours will be introduced as part of our September service changes, with the rest by the end of the year. ​

INFRASTRUCTURE​

​We will add 18 buses to our fleet:

  • 2 – 60 ft Züm hybrid diesel-electric buses
  • 7 – 40 ft conventional buses
  • 9 – 40 ft conventional buses to replace retired buses

Our on-time performance in 2019 was 88.5%.

Severe weather events in the early part of the year, combined with strong ridership growth in the fall and major roadway closures that occurred throughout the year, resulted in on-time performance just below target.
