Effective: Monday, July 27, 2026 at 10:00 AM until further notice

Due to asphalt repairs at the Downtown Terminal, the eastbound Route 1/1A Queen platform will be temporarily closed. Routes 1/1A Queen, 52 McMurchy, 561 Züm Queen West and GO Transit routes will be impacted.

Effective: Monday, July 27, 2026 at 7:00 AM until end of service on Tuesday, August 4, 2026

Due to construction and internal roadway resurfacing at Sheridan College, Routes 3/3A McLaughlin, 4/4C Chinguacousy, 11/11A Steeles, 53 Ray Lawson, 104 Chinguacousy​ Express and 511/511C Züm Steeles will be on detour.

Effective Tuesday, June 30, 2026, for approximately 3 weeks, the intersection at Robert Parkinson Drive and Mayfield Road will be impacted by construction.

Detour:

Route 27 Northbound

  • ​Regular routing to Robert Parkinson Drive and Kilkarrin Road
  • Right onto Kilkarrin Road
  • Right onto Creditview Road
  • Resume regular routing

  • Bus Stop #3293 (Robert Parkinson Drive at Humberstone Crescent) will be temporarily closed

Effective: Saturdays from June 13, 2026 until October 10, 2026 between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM

During the Downtown Farmer’s Market, Main Street will be closed between Queen Street and Wellington Street. Routes 502 Züm Main, 2 Main and 24 Van Kirk will be on detour.

  • Main Street north of Queen Street East will be temporarily closed to Route 2 Main - stop #1732
    • Passengers to board Route 2 Main buses at the existing bus stop #1733 on Main Street north of Theatre Lane. 
  • Main Street at Queen Street West will be temporarily closed to Route 2 Main - stop #1786

Details

Effective Monday, March 30, until further notice, due to critical repairs at the 8 Nelson Parking Garage, the Downtown Transit Terminal North Platform will be closed during Phase 2 of construction. ​

The following Brampton Transit and GO Transit route stops will be relocated to temporary on-street bus stops: 

1. Route 52 McMurchy - Temporary Stop on George Street, north of Nelson Street   

2. Route 561 Züm Queen West Westbound - Temporary Stop on George Street, south of Nelson Street   

3. Route 1/1A Queen Westbound - Temporary Stop on George Street, south of Nelson Street 

4. GO Transit Bus Stop - Route 31/33 towards Toronto - Temporary Stop on Main Street, north of Nelson Street   

5. GO Transit Bus Stop – Route 31/33 towards Guelph - Temporary Stop on Main Street, north of Theatre Lane (at Church Street)

6. GO Transit Bus Stop – Route 37 towards Orangeville - Temporary Stop on Main Street, north of Theatre Lane (at Church Street)

During this time, the South platform will remain open for buses and riders. GO Train Platforms will not be impacted.
