On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, the annual Remembrance Day Parade will begin at around 10:00 AM and last around 12:30 PM.  During this time, Routes 502 Züm Main and 2 Main will be temporarily detoured.

The parade route is as follows:

• Beginning at Rose Theatre and exiting on Theatre Lane
• West on Theatre Lane to Main Street
• South on Main Street to Wellington Street
• East on Wellington Street East to Chapel Street
• South on Chapel Street to Armstrong Street
• East on Armstrong Street to Mary Street
• South on Mary Street to Legion (80 Mary Street)

Note that the above sections of road will only be closed temporarily (rolling closures) as the parade moves through, except for Main Street South, and Wellington Street West, which will be fully closed in both directions beginning at 10:00 AM

Rolling Closures:

The following rolling closure will be from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM:

• Chapel Street from Queen Street to Armstrong Street
• Armstrong Street from Chapel Street to Mary Street
• Mary Street from Armstrong Street to the entrance of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 15

The following roads will be converted from one-way to two-way streets from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

• John Street
• Beatty Avenue

Detour:

Routes 502 Züm and 2 Northbound from Main Street

• Left onto Harold Street
• Right onto McMurchy Avenue
• Cross Queen Street
• Right onto Nelson Street
• Left onto Main Street
• Resume regular routing

Route 502 Züm and 2 Southbound from Main Street

• Right onto Nelson Street
• Left onto McMurchy Street
• Cross Queen Street
• Left onto Harold Street
• Left onto Main Street
• Resume regular routing
