Holiday Service 2024

Effective December 23 until January 5, Brampton Transit will be operating on Holiday service hours,​ with some reduced service.

Reduced Weekday Service:

  • iRide School Special Service (Routes 200 - 217) cancelled
  • Secondary School related extra trips and 199 UTM Express cancelled

Services resume Monday, January 6, 2024.

Holiday Service:

  • Monday, December 23, 2024: Reduced Weekday Service
  • Tuesday, December 24, 2024: Reduced Weekday Service
  • Wednesday, December 25, 2024: Sunday/Holiday service
  • Thursday, December 26, 2024: Saturday service
  • Friday, December 27, 2024: Reduced Weekday service
  • Saturday, December 28, 2024: Saturday service 
  • Sunday, December 29, 2024: Sunday/Holiday service 
  • Monday, December 30, 2024: Reduced Weekday service
  • Tuesday, December 31, 2024: Sunday service with extended New Year’s Eve service 
  • Wednesday, January 1, 2025: Sunday/Holiday service
  • ​Thursday, January 2, 2025: Reduced Weekday service
  • Friday, January 3, 2025: Reduced Weekday service
  • Saturday, January 4, 2025: Saturday Service 
  • Sunday, January 5, 2025: Sunday/Holiday Service

Brampton Transit Clark and Sandalwood Facilities, including Lost and Found, will be closed from December 24, 2024, at 12:00pm until January 1, 2025. Both Facilities and Lost and Found will re-open to the public on January 2, 2025. 

The Transit Service Centres and Contact Centre will be closed on Monday, December 25, 2024 and Monday, January 1, 2025.

Hurontario Street LRT Construction Update

Hurontario Street LRT construction is continuing to progress between  Brampton Gateway Terminal and Mississauga City Centre. Please see below for current construction impacts and bus stop conditions in the project area.

All bus stops are currently open and temporary bus stop platforms have been set up on Hurontario Street as needed. Minor delays are expected due to lane reductions.
