Yes. There are two ways this can happen:

  1. You can have someone else schedule inspections as a guest. When your permit is issued you will receive an email with an Authorization Key. Email the Authorization Key and full Permit Number (e.g. 2025 123456 000 00 RS) to the user you want to book inspections. The user can visit brampton.ca/bbportal and click on Non-Registered Services to log in and book inspections for that permit.
  2. You can add a contractor to your issued permits on your own. Log into the portal, scroll down to My Issued Permits. Click the permit you want to add a contractor to. Click the People Details tab and then click the Add Contractor button. The contractor you add must have a registered portal account.
If you have any questions or need assistance with these processes, email building.inquiries@brampton.ca or call 311 or 905-874-2401.

As long as both of the permits have been issued, we ask that you book the inspection on both the original permit and the revision permit for our inspection team.

If you are booking your occupancy inspections, please book the occupancy inspections for all three disciplines for the same day – Building, Plumbing and HVAC. In addition, book all the Final Inspections for all three disciplines for the same day - Building, Plumbing and HVAC. If you have any issues booking all six inspections for the same day, email inspections.scheduling@brampton.ca for assistance.

Attendee information will be required for each inspection requested. The person who is designated as the attendee must be familiar with construction and related terminology and is able to efficiently conduct an inspection of the scope of work requested.

Every evening after 6:00pm, our system will assign the inspector’s name and phone number so check back later for the information. You will also receive an email to advise that your inspection has been booked.

You can log into the portal to view if inspections are passed or not passed.

  1. Scroll down to the My Issued Permits section.
  2. Click the Detail button beside the permit you want to view the status of.
