The Enforcement and By-law Services Roundtable was established at the direction of Council to provide a collaborative forum for residents, Members of Council and City staff to engage in dialogue on enforcement and community standards.
Discussions will support a shared understanding of community needs, enforcement services and service delivery, and build on the progress already made in service delivery and community responsiveness. Topics may include parking enforcement, property standards, noise enforcement, proactive enforcement, service delivery, data and reporting and enforcement deployment.
The proposed Roundtable is comprised of one Council-appointed resident representative from each ward and up to five Members of Council. City staff and subject matter experts will participate as appropriate.
The Roundtable is not a decision-making body and does not direct enforcement operations or replace existing processes for reporting service requests, submitting complaints or addressing individual enforcement matters.
