Region of Peel Child Care Subsidy

If you have qualified for Child Care Subsidy by Region of Peel and are ready to register with City of Brampton, please see the steps below:​

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a program offered by the Region of Peel that helps qualifying families cover the cost of licensed child care, including City of Brampton camps,​ for children 12 years or younger. For more information on qualifying for this program please visit Child Care Subsidy - peelregion.ca


You must follow the process outlined below to access​ Child Care Subsidy. The City of Brampton will not reimburse registrations that are processed by clients and paid out of pocket prior to receiving approval for Region of Peel funding.

1. Choose the Type of Camp

Select one of the camps from the eligible camp list. Visit City of Brampton | Recreation | Register for Programs for full program information including camp descriptions, dates, times, and locations. 

    2. Complete the registration forms  


    3. Finalize your registration 

    Once confirmation of subsidy is received, the City of Brampton staff will confirm the availability of your selected camp(s) and will send you an emailed receipt of registration. If the camp you have requested is not available a City staff member will contact you by phone or email to assist you with selecting an alternate camp.  Please allow an additional five business days for the City to process the registration. ​


    4. Get ready for camp 

    Visit City of Brampton | Recreation | Camps to find information you will need for your child's first day of camp.
