Tubing, Skiing and Snowboarding - Hours of Operation

Please be advised that it may ​be necessary to groom the hill during public hours to improve conditions. Hours of operation, weather and snow conditions permitting. Please view operational open/close status updates at the top of this page before your visit.

Please note there is a minimum height requirement of 42" and maximum weight of 250 lbs for the tube hill. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own helmets to use for tubing.​

Mount Chinguacousy is now accepting school bookings for the tubing hill, Tuesday to Friday from 8 AM - 3 PM. For more information, please email community.programs@brampton.ca​. Please include your name, school​ name, participant age group, and program(s) of interest in your email.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Safety Policies

  • Personal equipment must be stored in the racks provided outside the chalet. We are not responsible for lost or stolen equipment.
  • Personal equipment must meet the following standards: snowboards must have a snowboard leash and full metal edge (no plastic snowboards), skis must have a ski brake.
  • Helmets are mandatory for all program participants.
  • Helmets are recommended in all areas.
  • Please adhere to the Alpine Responsibility Code that our Ski Patrol enforces.
  • Anyone wishing to be on skiable/snowboarding terrain, past the spectator area must have equipment and lift ticket on. Walking on the slopes is strictly prohibited.​​

Pro Shop

Closed for the season

Used rental equipment is available for sale at the pro shop located at the Chinguacousy Park Ski Chalet. Accessories are also for sale, including goggles, snowboard leashes, and ski/snowboard socks. Other services include ski and snowboard tuning.​​​​
