Brampton Lifesaving Club

The Brampton Lifesaving Club introduces athletes to the skills of lifesaving sport, while encouraging healthy living and regular physical fitness. Throughout the year, trained Lifesaving Coaches will concentrate on developing each swimmer’s strength, power and endurance. Athletes will focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, achieving personal bests and most of all, having fun!

Throughout the season, athletes will train for a number of pool events. Athletes will have the opportunity to participate in various competitions throughout the year in both individual and team events.

The Brampton Lifesaving Club is open to youth-ages 7 – 16.

Prerequisites: Swimmers must be able to comfortably swim 100 metres or more of front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, and perform 50 metres of either scissor kick or eggbeater without stopping.
