The Community Youth Hub at Susan Fennell Sportsplex is a community space designed for youth ages 14 to 29 years old. Community Youth Hubs are safe spaces where youth can access recreational programming, resources and community supports. ​Click here​ to learn more.​​

The Susan Fennell Youth Hub offers a diverse array of services aimed at empowering and engaging youth. Our key services include:

  • Creative Arts Programming: Delve into various forms of artistic expression, including visual arts, crafts, and design.

  • Music Production: Access state-of-the-art music production equipment and resources to bring your musical talents to life.

  • Employment and Volunteer Services: Get support with job searches, resume building, interview preparation, and access to volunteer opportunities to develop your skills and gain valuable experience.

  • Community Partnerships: Collaborate with local non-profit and grassroots community groups to receive additional support and explore new opportunities.

  • Life Skills Workshops: Participate in workshops focused on essential life skills like financial literacy, communication, and self-care.

  • Cooking Classes: Enjoy hands-on cooking sessions that teach you how to prepare healthy, affordable meals while developing essential culinary skills.

  • Reception Area
    • Features a warm and welcoming space with a large modern reception desk with, a green wall, and lockers.
  • eSports Area
    • Equipped with three 75” TV monitors with strip lighting, movable furniture, a foosball table and more. The space includes gaming chairs, multiple monitors for individual games play and/or individual group play.
  • Creative Space
    • The enclosed room space features a green screen for multiple programming opportunities such as recording music, vocals, music composition, DJ-ing and more.
  • Lounge Area 
    • An open, bright, welcoming space with built-in seating nooks, moveable furniture, a variety of seating with built-in power/USB outlets throughout. Youth are welcome to use this space to study, work on group projects or hang out with friends.
  • Meeting Rooms
    • The rooms can accommodate 4-16 people and are equipped with power, USB outlets on the wall and a large TV monitor with an external HDMI connection. Youth are welcome to use this space for study groups, work on projects, youth meetings and more.

Youth are free to use study rooms on a first-come, first-served basis a no charge. ​

The Youth Hub is primarily designed for Brampton youth ages 14-29, however, youth ages 10-13 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a guardian aged 14 or older. ​
