Eldorado Park: Visiting the Park

Important Information for Park Visitors​

  • BBQs: Residents are permitted to set-up BBQ/picnics within designated picnic areas. Charcoal BBQs are not permitted. Please note: we do not allow open flame of any kind.
  • Picnic Areas: Please note: select picnic areas are available for reservation. Please call 905-874-BOOK (2665) or email facilityrentals@brampton.ca for more details.
    • ​​Additional picnic spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis
    • Rental requests will be considered as of March 1.​
    • ​There are no picnic shelters available at Eldorado Park.
  • Alcohol is prohibited in the park.
  • Amplified sound will not be allowed.
  • Tent or shade structures must be no larger than 10’ x 10’ and cannot be staked into the ground.
  • Inflated structures such as bouncy castles will not be permitted.
  • Food trucks are not permitted.
  • Hydro or access to power outlets are not available.
  • Power generators are not permitted.
  • Remote control flying toys/drones or similar items are not permitted.
  • All pets must be leashed and under control at all times.
  • Parking is limited during peak times and gates may be closed to vehicular traffic during these times. Patrons will not be permitted to drive or park on any grassed areas even to drop off supplies to picnic areas.
  • Closing Time: Patrons will be reminded to start packing up their belongings 30 – 60 minutes prior to park closing. All patrons and vehicles must be vacated from the park prior to posted closing time.
  • Poisonous plants such as Poison Ivy, Giant Hogweed, Wild Parsnip, Stinging Nettle, Poke Weed, Spotted Water Hemlock can be found in unmaintained areas of the park, please remain on paths and areas that are clearly maintained by staff.
  • Fishing is permitted and patrons must adhere to information captured under Fisheries Management Zone 16 (Credit River).​​​
