What types of gift cards do you offer?
Both physical gift cards and digital (email) gift cards are available.
What value is loaded onto a gift card?
Gift cards are issued for the dollar amount purchased at the time of issue (a minimum purchase of $10 is required for physical cards). If fees increase after purchase, any additional balance owing will be the responsibility of the customer at the time of redemption.
Do gift cards expire?
No. City of Brampton Recreation gift cards do not have an expiration date.
What happens if my gift card is lost or stolen?
Gift cards should be treated like cash. The City of Brampton is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards.
How do I check my gift card balance?
Please ask staff to check your gift card balance at the time of purchase or redemption. Customers are encouraged to confirm their balance prior to use.
Where can gift cards be purchased?
Gift cards can only be purchased in-person at any City of Brampton Recreation Centre.
Where can gift cards be redeemed?
Gift cards can be redeemed in-person at any City of Brampton Recreation Centre or online through the City’s Registration Portal and can be used for purchasing programs, services, facility bookings, and concessions.
Can I use my gift card in the Registration App or Golf Now?
No. Gift cards cannot be used on the Registration App or for online bookings through GolfNow.
Can gift cards be reloaded?
No. Gift cards are not reloadable. Once the balance has been used, a new gift card must be purchased.
Can I get a refund on my gift card?
Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.
