The City has both indoor and outdoor spaces available to be rented for an event.

Indoor Venues

 

There are a number of indoor rooms and spaces that can be booked across the City. Click on the links below for more information or to fill out a rental request or application form.

• Recreation/Community Centres
• Alderlea
• Performing Arts Venues (theatre style)
• City Hall or other Corporate facilities – Call 905-874-2133

Outdoor Venues

• Recreation Centres – 250 or fewer attendeesm - Call 905-874-BOOK
• Other Outdoor spaces – 251 or more attendees​

Eligibility Criteria

The following general criteria, in addition to other criteria as per the City’s discretion, may be used to determine if your requested location is appropriate for the type of event you wish to host that includes the serving of alcohol:

• Nature of the event (private vs. public);
• Duration and hours of the event;
• Impact upon neighbouring properties and other users;
• Anticipated number of participants;
• Public safety considerations for event participants and City staff;
• Proximity to public transportation services;
• Adequate availability of space, parking and washroom facilities;
• Adequate availability of water and electricity​
