Welcome to the HUB

Location: Susan Fennell Youth Hub

Time: 5 to 9 PM

Join us for our Welcome to the YOU-th HUB exciting open house event designed to showcase the variety of activities and programs available for youth! Discover the vibrant space of the YOU-th HUB and take part in engaging tours and activities to learn more about what we offer.

Pass The Mic

Location: Snelgrove Community Centre

Time: 7 - 9 PM

Pass the Mic, a dynamic, youth-led open mic event celebrating National Youth Week! Organized by the Heartbeats in Arts & Culture Co-op Students, Pass the Mic invites young people across Brampton (ages 13–25) to showcase their talents in music, poetry, comedy, and more. By offering a welcoming platform for youth performances, this event uplifts the voices of emerging artists and fosters a supportive, community-focused environment. Pizza will be sponsored by Domino's Pizza.

Community Park Clean Ups with Councillors

Time: 10 AM to 1 PM

Location: Fletcher's Green Community Park

Join the City of Brampton's annual Parks Cleanup events as community members come together to help keep local parks clean, green, and welcoming for all. By removing litter and caring for shared outdoor spaces, participants support Brampton's Grow Green and litter reduction goals while strengthening community pride.

Participation requires pre-registration through the City of Brampton's Parks Cleanup Program for organized cleanups.

"Connect at Hope" – Youth Social Event

Time: 10 AM to 2 PM

Location: Hope Autism Services, Mississauga, ON

"Connect at Hope" is a fun and welcoming social event for neurodivergent youth and young adults ages 14–29. Hosted by Hope Autism Services, an autism therapy center in Mississauga supporting individuals and families in the community, this event offers a relaxed space to play board games, enjoy light snacks, and participate in casual group activities that encourage connection and friendship. Join us to meet new people and celebrate National Youth Week in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Youth Games – Next Gen Youth Cup (Soccer)

Location: Save Max Sports Centre

Time: 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The Next Gen Youth Cup is an exciting all-star style soccer skills competition that brings young athletes together to showcase their talent in a fun and competitive environment. Players rotate through interactive challenge stations focused on key techniques such as dribbling, passing, shooting, agility, and overall game awareness, all guided by experienced coaches who encourage confidence and growth. The program concludes with a balanced all-star scrimmage, giving participants the chance to apply their skills in a game setting while promoting teamwork, creativity, and sportsmanship.

A World Cup–inspired e-sports tournament where youth team up, game it out, and face off in friendly matches. Expect teamwork, strategy, and lots of high-energy fun in a digital arena.

Ignite Your Week – Play, Learn & Create. A FREE Youth Event!​

Location: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York​

Time: 5:30 to 7:30 PM

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Peel York is offering a dynamic series of FREE interactive workshops designed to spark creativity, build leadership skills, and foster community connection among youth aged 13 to 18. From step-by-step landscape painting and collaborative songwriting to strength-based leadership challenges and a relaxed pizza social, these sessions provide a safe, inclusive space for participants to explore their potential and have fun. Whether you're looking to develop new talents, expand your creativity, or simply hang out with peers, there is a session tailored for everyone's interest. No prior skills are required for any of the workshops.


Public Speaking Workshop

Time: 6 to 8 PM

This interactive workshop helps youth build confidence, improve communication skills, and learn techniques to speak clearly and effectively in front of an audience.

Teen Meetup – May the Fourth be with You

Celebrate Star Wars day at the Library with games and activities. Whether you're a Jedi Knight or a Padawan, all are welcome to join in and fight the dark side. This program is for teens 13–18 years old.


Backstage Pass: The Concert Audit Workshop

Location: Century Gardens Recreation Centre

Time: 3 to 4 PM

Join City Auditors for an interactive workshop exploring municipal process reviews through a concert-themed simulation. You will work together to perform a gap analysis, identify process deviations, and discuss the strategic "guardrails" used to ensure successful city operations. Every attendee will receive a factual resume summary documenting the technical skills reviewed during this one-hour professional development session.

Retro Roller Skating

Location: Gore Meadows Community Centre & Library

Time: 5 to 9:30 PM

Get ready to roll into fun and excitement with our thrilling retro roller-skating night designed exclusively for youth ages 14 to 29! Whether you're a seasoned skater or strapping on wheels for the first time, this program promises endless thrills, laughter, and camaraderie. SUSO Skate will be providing roller skates and protective gear.

Wondering what life looks like after graduation? Attend this panel discussion with post-secondary students to learn about their successes and personal challenges and have your questions answered. This program is for teens 15–19 years old.

Explore Brampton Youth Pass ​

Generously sponsored by Amazon, the Explore Brampton Youth Pass provides youth with free access on Brampton Transit and select recreation opportunities throughout the summer.

Passholders will enjoy free rides on Brampton Transit and complimentary access to Brampton recreation drop-in programs, including swimming, skating and select sports, from July 1 to September 1, 2025. Applications for the Explore Brampton Youth Pass are now open.
