Inclusion Registered and Drop-in Programs

​Inclusion programs offer an opportunity to engage with peers, learn new skills and enjoy a variety of fun games and activities. For any questions regarding programs or additional support, please email us at inclusionprograms@brampton.ca.​

Registered Programs

Registered programs are a series that take place over the course of several weeks. Participants register for a course and attend each class on the scheduled date and time to complete the course.


Adults Developing and Participating Together (A.D.A.P.T)

This adult day program features a wide variety of recreational activities surrounding the areas of games, music, literacy, fitness, crafts, swimming and much more. Each day participants get the opportunity to experience programming based on their likes and abilities while building positive relationships with their peers.


Early Learning, Parent and Child (4 to 6 years)

This program offers children that are newly diagnosed with a disability a supportive space where they will have the opportunity to make connections with other children, parents and instructors.


NEW! Inclusion Public Swim Drop-In:

An adapted public swim environment with reduced capacities and noise. Open to participants of all ages and swimming abilities. Support workers are required and enter for free.


NEW! Inclusion Sensory Skate Drop-In

An adapted public skating environment with reduced lighting, decreased number of participants on the ice, and increased access to quiet change rooms. Mobility devices are welcome on the ice. Support workers enter for free.


NEW! Inclusion Skating Small Group

These lessons are designed for individuals living with disabilities. Participants will be broken into groups based on their ability and will participate in a structured lesson to work on improving their skating skills from the Brampton Learn to Skate Program. Lessons are equipped with inclusion support staff, request for additional support for this program is not required.


NEW! Inclusion Swimming Small Group

These lessons are designed for individuals living with disabilities. Participants will be broken into groups based on ability and will participate in a structured lesson to work on improving their swimming skills from the Splash Swimming Program. Lessons are equipped with inclusion support staff, request for additional support for this program is not required.


Life Skills (Age 14+)

Teens and adults living with a disability will have the opportunity to learn essential life skills to help them navigate through daily living with support of specialized professionals.


Out and About (Age 14+)

Out and About provides teens and adults living with a disability the chance to attend planned community outings and special events happening in the City of Brampton. This program is best suited for individuals requiring minimal assistance and/or support. This program runs during the Fall, Winter and Spring Seasons.


Swim and Explore (6 to 13 years)

This program is for children living with disabilities who need minimal assistance and/or supervision. This fun and enjoyable program consists of one hour of swim time, plus a variety of weekly activities such as crafts, games and active play. This program runs during the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons.

Drop-in Programs

Drop-in programs are one-time use, pay-as-you-go programs that are not part of a multi-date course.

Weekly Drop-In Dance

Every Wednesday evening, get your dancing shoes ready for this exciting drop-in dance program for teens and adults living with a disability. Dances are professionally dj’d with a snack bar. Join us to make new friends and to show off your awesome dance moves to the latest hits.

Multi-Sensory Drop-In (6 months to 4 years, age 14+)

This therapeutic space will provide individuals living with a disability a personalized sensory input experience.​
